I love meeting new bloggers. I had the pleasure of meeting the brains (and beauty!) behind A Fine Line Blog, Sarah Stone, earlier this year over some morning coffee at Rocketcat Cafe. A few days ago, we met up again to take a few fabulous photos of her in my favorite hipster neighborhood of Northern Liberties in Philadelphia. This is a little late since it officially went live at 9am today, but say hello to Femme & Fortune! It’s been months in the making, but Femme & Fortune is a new (kickass) online magazine for creative and modern women! With a focus on beauty, fashion, technology, home, design, and Philadelphia, Femme & Fortune was founded by myself and Ces of Java Aficionado and is our new endeavor deeper into the editorial and blogging world. This site will cover topics using fresh and unique content, beautiful photography and visual designs, and the best part is that it’s written by women for women. If you’re passionate about any subject and want to contribute, contact us here!

I got together with a few bloggers for a little breakfast yesterday morning at Sabrina’s Cafe in Fairmount. We had a lovely discussion, ate some bomb food and got to do a little photoshoot per my suggestion, of course. I can’t miss an opportunity for some new photos! I got a new dress (one of many as I try to reassess my whole wardrobe, so THANK YOU FASHION BLOGS!), and I thought I’d show it off to all you lovely readers. These were taken by the bee-eff today in South Philly as I met with a client. We ended up going to a comedy club right after for their open mic night, and let’s just say my bucket list wish of doing stand up may come faster than I thought. I think I want to start practicing some scripted comedy in front of friends this year, and eventually do an amateur night at a comedy club like tonight. Wish me luck folks!
Beyonce has a new campaign with H&M’s swimwear line, and she touches upon different elements of earth, wind, fire and water. Just in time for her Mrs. Carter World Tour, too. Nice Beyonce…always one step ahead of the game!
Hey everyone! Quick question – have you heard of the Poshmark mobile app? If not, here’s a little visual guide to help educate you!
Sounds pretty cool eh? Poshmark (download the app here) is a community of fashionistas across the country who can use the mobile platform to sell and buy their clothing. It’s a great tool to use when you’re too busy to drop off your clothes and accessories to Goodwill or need some extra cash for items in your closet that you haven’t touched in ages.
Also, if you are looking more to purchase items rather than sell on Poshmark, then join a Posh Party on their website for a virtual, real-time shopping event dedicated to specific brands or themes. And hey, you can also shop my own closet by visiting my Poshmark page!

I’ve been thinking a lot about what I should wear to the party, and I finally found the perfect Spring Fling-themed grapefruit colored dress to wear below by Jessica Simpson! I made an inspirational moodboard to go alongside an image of the dress (you know, to hype me up pre-party), so take a look at it below and start getting your outfit ready too!
